Welcome to Dressage Rotorua

The Rotorua Dressage Group was formed over 30 years ago to promote and organise
dressage in our area. Based at the Riverdale Show Grounds in Ngongotaha, which is also shared with several other equestrian groups, is known as Rotorua's equestrian hub.
We hold Open Competiton days which are grading days in September, November and January and in the Autumn we hold a series over two days in April and May, which cater predominately for the unregistered and lower level but also include classes up to Advanced level.



When we are not organising competitions we also run rallies and social events for our members. Here you will find the latest presidents report, news from local and national events, show results and the notice board including horses and items for sale.

Expressions of Interest are invited from North Island Young Riders competing at Level 4 and above who may be interested in travelling to the South Island Dressage Championships incorporating the Southern Trust SI Pony & Young Rider Championships and the York Corporation Inter Island Challenge Trophy (Derby Style competition - second round on borrowed horses).

A travel subsidy of $100 per combination is offered plus there will be a subsidy on the Inter-Islander Ferry

This is an opportunity to experience Inter-Island travel, a team competition and southern hospitality at the excellent McLeans Island venue from 3-5 March
